5 professors from the FRC elected at the IUF

The Minister for higher education and research have just approved the list of laureates established by the jury of the “Institut Universitaire de France” (IUF). Five professors from the FRC’s network were elected this year. The IUF is a selective body whose members benefit from a reduced teaching load and increased support for their research for a period of five years.
The laureates are Mr Jean Pierre TO ROUGH-HEW, professor of physics, as senior member, of Mr Philippe COMPAIN, professor of chemistry, Mrs Sylvie FERLAY-CHARITAT, associate professor of chemistry, Mrs Petra HELLWIG, professor of physical-chemistry, and Mr Paolo SAMORI, professor of physical-chemistry, as juniors members.
Moreover, the jury decided to renew, for a second five years period, the membership of Mr Thomas EBBESEN, professor of physical-chemistry at the “Institut Universitaire de France”.
