Projects in 2008

In 2008, the Foundation supported 11 innovative research projects. Thus, we encourage the development of smart materials and new therapeutic approaches. We also contribute to the understanding of biological mechanisms and to the discovery of new catalytic systems.

One of the missions of the Foundation is to promote synergic projects between the different laboratories in Strasbourg. Last year, we supported 4 projects in this sense. They cover themes from biology to therapy as well as the development of new materials.

In order to maintain the quality of the network, the FRC can allow a financial support to the teams of newly recruited scientists. In 2008, we granted 6 researchers in Strasbourg, enabling them to start their research in the best conditions.
